Features

Unique construction
Contoured, patented hinge design provides smooth, frictionless rotation. In the rotated position, the locking flange functions as a positive stop minimizing stress on the surface material. In the flat position the locking flange traps the radius of the adjacent slat, preventing disengagement when a surface load is applied.

Clamp on installation
Roll and Lock’s patented clamp on track design greatly simplifies the installation process while minimizing the need for drilling holes on most trucks.

With just a turn of the lock lever, the Roll and Lock bed cover slides open. As the cover is pulled back using the convenient built in pull strap the patented ratchet style locking mechanism latches in place at ¼ ½ ¾ or fully closed positions.

Built in Tailgate lock
Keep cargo safe with Roll and lock’s patented built in tailgate locking system. Our positive system locks the tailgate and bed cover simultaneously for the most secure system possible in retractable cover application. Beware that some competitors roller shutters are not lockable, that’s why they are cheaper .

Finger Insulator grip
For very sunny and hot days, we have developed a finger insulated grip, which allows the handle to be grasped without fingertips being burned.

Key slot cover
For colder days, we have developed a key slot cover to prevent water and dust  from entering the lock mechanism and freezing, extending the life span of the lock.

Operation

To open the Roll and  Lock
Place your palms on the tailgate and squeeze the handle to the tailgate to take pressure off the latches. Turn the lock lever clockwise to 10 o’clock and let the cover open slightly.
Give the handle a slight push while loosely holding the pull strap. This will reduce the momentum of the cover as it opens, while allowing the lock lever to strike the housing lid with enough force to cause it to reset.

To close the Roll and Lock
With the tailgate up, simply pull back on the pull-strap until the cover either engages the stop positions within the tracks where you want the cover to stop, or the handle engages the tailgate lock-strip.
If closing the cover to the tailgate, make sure to pull back SMOOTHLY with
both hands on the handle so as to make sure both latches engage the tailgate lock strip simultaneously.
To secure the contents of the bed, make sure the tailgate is up on your B2500 before closing the cover.

If you wish to close the cover with the tailgate down, make sure the lock is turned to the 7 o’clock(“latched”) position, and then gently pull the cover back to the latch stop position.

Secure the pull strap

If you intend to drive with your cover even partially open make sure the pull strap is securely fastened at all times.Failure to do so may result in damage to your Mazda B2500, your Roll n Lock retractable cover or both.
